Pragmata Wiki

Pragmata, stylized as PRAGMATA, is an upcoming science fiction action-adventure video game developed by Capcom, set to be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Windows.[2][3] It was originally slated for a 2022 release, but was later changed to 2023.[4]

Pragmata is set in a dystopian near-future on Earth's Moon.

Pragmata is being led by Capcom, the creators of Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Monster Hunter, and among others,[5] as the company's first original franchise in eight years. Pragmata was originally unveiled on June 11, 2020, during Sony's PlayStation 5 reveal stream.[6] Capcom revealed that the project is being fronted by "newly hired young employees,"[7][8] and it believes that "incorporating the youthful sensibilities of digital natives adds a new appeal to the intellectual property."[9]

Upon its reveal, Pragmata was compared to the works of game designer Hideo Kojima, specifically the 2019 video game, Death Stranding.[10]
